Seems like the right topic for the first post here...introducing a digital piece of my soul:

Lestat is here to, *rethinks...wonders what he is goin to type as he...* actually when I started playing SL I was just curious, people kept talking about it and I just had to know what this is all about, so i created an account. 3-4 weeks later I was about ready to leave again, when I stumbled over this little club. The people were nice, and I found myself part of  a community really quick. actually the real journey started there... all the times before i was just a drifter, passing by, visiting places, never staying too long, never getting to know the people I met.  Regarding the developtments in Lestat's life lately, I'm glad I did not turn my back on this vampire then, letting him wait on the sun to rise and burn him to digital ashes.

I'm here to live the darker side of my soul(no I'm NOT into BDSM FFS :D), to meet interesting people, people who at least try to take this seriously. People who tend to say "come on it's just a game" as an excuse for messing with other ppls feelings will certainly not make it on my friends list. I must admit I never did RPGs on the internet (where are the good old pen and paper sessions...).
SL is not a game to me. You can save and restart a game. Ok yes..you can lose..but you cannot hurt. SL is a different world in which you implement a part of you. to say you keep RL from SL is not really to the point. SL is a part of RL. SL affects your RL (and if it only consumes your time)and the other way around. It's like a split personality, two minds one body. has its benefits, bears the more dangers. I know people in this world that seem to lose themselves or already have lost themselves in it. but i'm drifting.

I love to spend time in here because I like the people, I can do things that would never be possible in my real life (hey..i can fly...wooohooooo) and its an ever changing universe.. you can never tell what is to come, you are drifting in a stream towards the horizon without the roaring sound of a waterfall ahead...but maybe this day will come...*grins* will be a hell of a ride then hopefully!
